Grapes were harvested in the middle of September. Alcoholic fermentation in closed tanks with gentle cap irrigator, extended skin contact for 21 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in Romanian oak barrels.
Expressive with black fruit nose and subtle oak hints. Velvety and soft on the palate, with sweet tannins and lingering finish with complex flavours of tobacco, coffee and spices.
It is an excellent choice with spiced food, veal and lamb, pastrami or mature cheese.
This wine is best served at a temperature of 16-18°C
